Meet and greet the new Honorary Consul of Hungary for Washington& Idaho.

In June of 2013 SPSCA president Clarissa Szabados-Mish visited Pécs and met with Mayor Páva and other members of his office. Mayor Páva extended an invitation to SPSCA and Seattle to participate in an international choir festival which will be held in Pécs in 2015.  Ms. Szabados-Mish also met with Dr. Fischer and visited the stunning new Center of Knowledge, toured the Ghandi Gimnazium High school with the new windows that SPSCA helped install, and traveled to the neighboring countryside.

2013's Summer Student Program visitor was Dr. Eniko Pozner a recent graduate from the Pécs medical school. She met with professionals in her field of interest, toured Seattle's most famous sites, and enjoyed meeting the Hungarian community.  Read her report.

In May 2013 H.E. György Szapáry, the Hungarian ambassador to the United States, visited Seattle. He met with local businessmen and discussed trade opportunities between the two countries. The Hungarian-American community organized a reception in his honor.
